The entire staff is very friendly, and they always do a great job. Part of my permanent retainer from childhood braces came loose, and they fixed it right in the office when I was in for a cleaning.

Dr. Rahman or Dr. Mo as many of his patients like to call him, graduated from Colgate University with a degree in Molecular Biology and then New Jersey Medical School and New York University for his masters degree and dental education respectively. During his undergraduate education, he conducted research on biochemical pathways that have direct impacts on medical and dental research today. He was invited to present these findings at Harvard Medical School and later participated in a highly competitive six month fellowship program at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research in Bethesda, MD, working with world renowned researchers. He went on to do a faculty practice residency at NYU where he worked with specialists and treated many members of the NYU community. Dr. Rahman completed further training in complex implantology and oral surgery at Englewood Hospital and St. Barnabas Hospital. He is proud to be named among one of America’s Top Dentists and to bring his expertise in family and cosmetic dental services to his home state of New Jersey. Dr. Rahman combines his expertise with a personalized touch for each patient. His philosophy is not to just focus on the importance of a healthy, beautiful and functional smile, but also a comfortable, painless approach in reaching your dental goals. He is an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Over the course of several years, he has spent several hundred hours in implant, esthetic, sleep, laser, and restorative dentistry and belongs to several world renowned organizations in these fields. He continues to spend time every year staying abreast of the latest research and technologies in the dental field to provide his patients the best experience possible. At Oakland Premier Dental, Dr. Rahman has established a unique approach focused on a no judgment environment that tailors to each person’s needs and wants using the latest technology. When he isn’t working on helping people achieve their optimal dental health, he can be found hiking, white water rafting, practicing jiu-jitsu, and spending time with his expanding family.
Dr. Stephanie Tran graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Genetics. She then earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio with a Distinction in Dental Education. Next, Dr. Tran packed her bags and moved across the country to complete the General Practice Residency at the Hackensack University Medical Center. In this program, Dr. Tran furthered her clinical skills in oral surgery, implantology, and restorative dentistry.
Growing up, Dr. Tran always had a positive experience visiting the dentist, but she knows that is not the case for the majority of the population. Dr. Tran entered the dental profession because she wanted to transfer this pleasant experience to her own patients. Her gentle touch and bubbly, down-to-earth personality make it easy for patients feel comfortable in the dental chair. Her patients also appreciate the time and attention she gives to each one to ensure their dental health concerns are met with the highest quality.
Outside of the dental office, you will find her baking Cookie Monster macarons for her side business called Steph’s Macarons, paddleboarding in Ringwood, or following Bob Ross oil painting tutorials on YouTube.
